Subject: Update: Congress Passes Short-Term CR, Avoids Shutdown
GHSA Members,
This afternoon, Congress passed a new, short-term Continuing Resolution (CR), H.J. Res. 99, which will fund the government at current levels until midnight, May 5. President Trump is expected to sign the law shortly to avert today’s midnight expiration of the previous CR.
This third, one-week CR will allow Congress to continue negotiating and finalizing a full FY 2017 appropriations package. We will keep you posted as the discussion continues next week.
